Welcome to Kindred

Kindred is a peer-support community for lung cancer caregivers. By creating an account, you agree to these terms.

Who can join

Kindred is for caregivers of people with lung cancer — spouses, parents, children, siblings, friends. You must be 18 or older. Please be honest in your profile; misrepresentation is grounds for removal.

Community rules

• Be kind. Caregivers come here in moments of vulnerability.
• No harassment, hate, or threats — ever.
• No spam, solicitation, marketing, or pretending to be someone you're not.
• No medical advice presented as fact. Share your experience; recommend professionals.
• Respect privacy. Don't share other members' details outside Kindred.

Reporting & enforcement

You can block or report any member. Reports are reviewed and may result in account suspension or removal. We reserve the right to remove accounts that violate these rules.

Not medical advice

Nothing on Kindred is medical advice. Always consult qualified medical professionals for treatment decisions.

Supporter contributions

The optional $5 Supporter contribution is a one-time, non-refundable donation that helps cover operating costs. It grants a profile badge and our heartfelt thanks.
